Fun!! We’ll be camping at the Fort Radcliffe at Camp Cutler (also known as the Ships at Gleason’s Bay, in Naples, NY). If you’ve never been to Camp Cutler, this is an excellent time to check it out. You’ll have an opportunity to tour the camp and see the different villages (castle, fort, Native American are some of the themes). The entire family (siblings included) is welcome to attend. Come for the day only, one night or both nights.

o The Family Derby (formerly known as the Man/Woman-wood Derby) in back again this year after the Pinewood Derby - noon-1pm. It is open to any family member that is not a cub scout, including siblings. Participants for this category will have to purchase their own cars. We will have a few kits available at the December pack meeting for $4 each or these can be purchased at the scout shop.

When: Friday, October 1, 2010
Time: Program starts at 6:45pm SHARP, Arrive at airport between 5:45pm and 6:30pm!
Park: Airport Economy lot, located across from the airport on Brooks Avenue ($5.50/day). The shuttle will bring you over to the airport and needs to drop you off in front of the International Arrivals area on the lower level (where we will drop our things and spend the night).

Our Itinerary
6:45 – 7:45pm Therapy Dogs presentation.
7:45 - 8:15pm Security presentation. Everyone will have to go through the security checkpoint.
8:15 - 9:00pm Fire Department presentation.
9:00 – 10:15pm Welcome passengers off a plane, and then take a tour of the jet & cockpit (only SCOUTS will board the plane, no adults).

After the tour of the plane, we’ll have a snack (bring your own) and an age appropriate movie for those who are not ready to sleep, others can play games or go to sleep (think we’ll get much?).

On Saturday morning, we must leave by 9am but we expect we’ll be up & out earlier.

Registration begins at 2pm, event starts at 3pm at Parma Town Park.  The cost is $12/youth, age 6+ (no event charge for adult or kids 5 and under).  This includes carnival type games, a t-shirt, an event patch and optional dinner for all.  Dinner is an additional $3/person. 

There will be a campfire later in the evening, followed by a movie and optional tent camping overnight.  Here’s an opportunity for families to camp close to home with other scouts.  See the flyer for info on what to bring.  Siblings are welcome to come.  Please e-mail Jane Sweetland to sign up by Thursday, June 3.  Include the name of each youth and adult planning to attend, if you are staying for dinner and if you’ll be camping overnight.  Payment must be received by June 3.

Tickets are now on sale at the Seneca Waterways Council Scout Shop (474 East Avenue, Rochester).  Tickets can be purchased in person or by mail (see Jane at Rocket Launch for flyer).

Take part in the pre-game parade that begins at 6:15 p.m. All Scouts must meet at “The Sweet Spot” at the end of the 1st base concourse no later than 6:05 p.m. (No exception).  After the game, those who register will be allowed to bring in their camping gear and camp overnight in the outfield.  A movie will be shown on the video board.

Post game fireworks.

Pack 92 will assemble at 8:45am at 162 S. Union Street (across from the gas station).  Boys should be in full uniform.  The parade starts at West Avenue and goes through the village down to the Veterans Park (at Brockport Spencerport Rd).  A short Memorial Day service follows.
